In this section we're going to benchmark the URA-350SA with a Western Digital 250GB SATA 16MB Cache (WD2500KS) hard drive. Western Digital has become my favorite over the last few years because of their quality drives. The WD2500KS is my favorite model because it's not too big, but not too small either. 16MB of cache versus the typical 8MB is another feature I've come to want. The WD2500KS can currently be found for about $75 online which is darn good.

Benchmarking

In this review, I used DiskBench and DiskSpeed. These very small programs which leave the smallest amount of footprints on your computer, are created with a minimum GUI to test the basic functionality of a hard drive using very little of your PC's memory.
