Inside the LUE-360, is the JMicron 20336. It is a very powerful chip which doesn't get the attention it should. The JM20336, a bridge controller, allows a more consistent and powerful Hi-Speed USB to SATA II 3.0G and SATA II 3.0G to SATA II 3.0G data transfer, as it is a dedicated chip. This ensures a more reliable communication with higher-speed devices.

The Luxon Advanced ED is a little cheaper than the URA-350SA, and can still perform, however, I do miss the one-touch file transfer feature and the built-in fan. Of course, these are compromises when you want a budget enclosure. Unless you really need those extra features on the Uranus URA-350SA, the Luxon Advanced can be a great addition to your external storage solution for a little less wallet expense.
