FP52 IntroductionA Closer LookFP52 Conclusion

The following are images of the FP52.

Silverstone FP52 Top View

From the top view you can see the small footprint the FP52 makes. However, if you feel you need a 5.25" extension because of space limitations, SilverStone provides the SDP06 5.25" Extension Bracket, which will accept a 3.5" hard drive.

The Three Thermistors

SilverStone does a great and professional job delivering the FP52 in its packaging to your home. The thermistors are protected in small tubing so fingerprints and whatever else, will not contaminate the sensors until ready to use.

Backup Battery

SilverStone says an optional battery is required for backup, but they actually include a battery to get you started. Due note the battery does not have a plastic separator so the battery will not be completely fresh. However, it is good enough to last a while.

The Buttons And Grills

The FP52 sports some nice looking grills. SilverStone says they are "Dual air intake mesh" grills, but I'm not so sure about how much air they an intake. However, if you have enough hot air being pumped out of the case, the intake mess grills will provide the opportunity to allow the push-pull of air moving through your system.

You can also see the brushed and bezeled button on the FP52. There are only two buttons which are used to control the entire unit which makes the overall look a much more clean and professional appearance.
