The DigiPower JumpStart Sportis going to be my power resource when I'm on the go and out on the road. It's extremely lightweight and supplies a lot of power to my digital devices. This should be a mandatory accessory for a complete outdoor survival kit because think about the possibility of your cell phone's battery going dead in the middle of a multi-mile hike and you're not exactly sure where you are. Or what if you brought along your GPS device...so you wouldn't get lost...but the thing goes dead as well because you've been playing with it ever since you started your hike.

There are multitudes of things which can go wrong when you are not close to a power resource because let's face it, we take power for granted. We have outlets all over our home and work and in our cars, but once in the outdoors...power becomes less available.

What's really convenient about the DigiPower JumpStart, is you can toss it your small camera bag or hiking bag and feel good it's there as a backup to all your digital devices you take with you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLUS

Of course, it was rather easy giving the DigiPower JumpStart Sport the highest DigitalDingus rating. It's easy to use. It's highly versatile. Quality is very good. The design and form factor are spot-on and I can't think of anything I'd do better.

I would have opened the JumpStart up to reveal just what kind of battery is inside, but it was too difficult — and quite frankly, I didn't want to break it as I love using this thing. I'm assuming the battery inside is more than likely the latest rechargeable batteries offered by MAHA (such as the IMEDION brand) and other companies which hold a charge for a year. I prefer MAHA and I hope it's their brand in this. What we do know is the battery inside the JumpStart Sport is a Lithium-Ion battery, which are currently the best available because they can provide deep power currents to demanding digital devices over extended periods of time.

Reducing your battery collection is a good thing, and DigiPower makes this very easy to do. Being so lightweight, you'll hardly notice it's there. The quality of the product is very good, even the accessories, and the JumpStart certainly deserves my highest rating. Get one now. You'll thank me.
