  • Does not require line-of-sight to transmit the audio signals
Com One's Mic Bluetooth Stereo Headset is a welcomed Bluetooth headset which has style, performance, and quality, all in one compact design. Using the headset for about a week, I used it on a variety of audio components and began using it instead of my sound system. I suppose a person could simply a non-Bluetooth cordless headset system similarly priced, but I've used them before and they do not compare to the sound quality of Com One's headset.

Bluetooth is probably not used as much as it could be which is probably attributed to the way the devices connect to each other. Simply turning on a device is not enough, and the user must activate the transmitter as well as the receiver. This is referred to as Pairing. Pairing has been improved over the years, as well as devices communicating with each other more quickly. Using Bluetooth devices for the first time, a user can get frustrated, but after a few uses of the devices, connecting becomes rather simple.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLUS

As stated above, the sound quality was excellent. I heard deep bass, rich mids, and crispy highs while listening movies and music from a variety of sources such as the two computer systems I use for review, as well as a receiver. I even used the MBSH with a cordless phone, and the sound was quite good, but unfortunately the mic did not work. This is more than likely due to the phone not being Bluetooth, and some other incompatibility. For cell phone users who do have Bluetooth, the headset will work perfectly fine.

Even though the headset is an open-air design, the sound is quite engulfing and I found myself forgetting I even had them on.

I highly recommend anyone who is looking into Bluetooth solutions to put Com One on the top of the list.
