USA Telephone Teams With TeleBlend To Provide Reduced Discounts For SunRocket Customers

Broadband phone service provider TeleBlend, one of two "preferred" service providers for former SunRocket customers, announces that USA Telephone, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) providing national Telephone, Internet and Television service, has agreed to support the customer transition by dedicating its extensive resources, management and expertise. TeleBlend is the VOIP business unit of Unified Communications Corp.

"USA Telephone is a nationwide telecom provider with an established track record for delivering reliable Telephone, Internet and TV service to customers, and we are tremendously appreciative that they will be working with us to manage a seamless transition for former SunRocket customers," said Michael Morrison, General Manager for TeleBlend. "USA Telephone President and CEO, Bill Fogg and VP of Operations Michael Carbonneau will join me to oversee and guide the process, and to help begin what we hope will be a long-term relationship with tens of thousands of new TeleBlend broadband phone service customers."

TeleBlend is offering former SunRocket customers a heavily discounted monthly subscription rate of $12.95 for the duration of their previous annual contract with SunRocket to help ease this transition. With this offering, former SunRocket customers can ensure they have uninterrupted service, and a way to maintain and rapidly transfer their existing phone number.

Teleblend will be offering broadband phone service for $19.95 per month.

What happened to my old service with SunRocket?
SunRocket is no longer in business. Teleblend is offering you new service to provide an option for uninterrupted service. Signing up with us will be totally seamless. All you have to do is go to our web site at http://www.myteleblend.net and sign up by entering your telephone number and your billing information. Your service will continue uninterrupted.

I just read on the Internet that my SunRocket service will no longer work for me. What can I do?
SunRocket is no longer in business. If you sign up with us your service will continue uninterrupted. If you do not sign up with us you should locate another service provider as Sunrocket service will be interrupted otherwise. Teleblend is offering you new service, not a continuation of Sunrocket service.

What if I already prepaid for a year of service, how will you handle that?
Teleblend is not Sunrocket. Teleblend is a new service provider. We cannot honor any service contracts you might have had with Sunrocket but we will offer you a reduced monthly rate of $12.95 per month for the duration of your previous annual contract with Sunrocket. When that annual term expires we will offer you service at our regular annual rate, which we will notify you of in advance.

What are your prices for international service?
We will honor the current Sunrocket international rates for the time being and will notify all customers in advance of changes to the current international rates. New rates will be posted to our website at http://www.myteleblend.net.

I want to cancel service with SunRocket.
We are sorry that you want to cancel your phone service. We are not SunRocket so we cannot take any cancellation information for them. If you do not want to sign up with us for new service that is your prerogative. We do want to make you aware that your phone service may stop operating without notice since Sunrocket is no longer in business. What will change about my service with yours?

I have a billing question
If you have a billing question about your Sunrocket service, we cannot help you. If you have signed up for Teleblend service and have a question about your bill, our billing office is open 8am – 5pm Eastern time.

Do I have to change my hardware to use your service?
You don’t have to change a thing, just go to our website http://www.myteleblend.net, sign up your telephone number and your service will continue as normal.

I am having problems with my service, calls dropping, no connections etc. What can I do?
First, unplug your router from the wall socket, wait 1 minute, then plug in your router again. Wait till all the lights come on and then pick up your telephone handset and try and make a call, please contact our technical support.
