The eight-MegaPixel FinePix A820 and nine-MegaPixel FinePix A900 both incorporate Fujifilm's Super CCD sensor technology with a Fujinon 4x optical zoom lens and ISO levels of up to 800.

The seven-MegaPixel, SLR-styled FinePix S700 features a powerful 10x optical zoom, 'i-Flash' Intelligent Flash, a 2.5" LCD with an electronic view finder (EVF), ISO levels of up to 1600 at full resolution and 14 pre-programmed scene modes.

All three models feature Fujifilm's Picture Stabilization technology and a versatile xD/SD Media Compatible Slot that accepts both xD-Picture Cards and Secure Digital (SD) media cards, providing photographers with greater flexibility and more storage options.

The recently announced FinePix S5 Pro DSLR will also be highlighted. In addition, Fujifilm will demonstrate its "Face Detection Technology," which can be found in the FinePix F40fd and FinePix Z5fd digital cameras.

One-Time-Use Cameras and Professional Film

The new QuickSnap 1000 features an enhanced shutter speed of 1/200 second which, when combined with its 1000-speed Fujicolor film, makes it an excellent choice for capturing fast action shots, as well as great everyday pictures. It is available in Flash and Colors (red, blue, purple) versions.

Also at PMA 2007, Fujifilm renews its commitment to professional photographers by bringing back Fujichrome Velvia 50 for Professionals (RVP 50). Velvia 50 will be the film of choice for leading landscape, nature and other photographers who will appreciate its high color saturation, image depth and dramatic color reproduction.

Expanding the World of Picture Printing

Expanding Frontier Solutions

Fujifilm introduces Expanding Frontier Solutions as its next generation imaging solution to meet the varied range of digital printing and output needs of today's retail customers. For Fujifilm, Frontier is no longer simply a digital minilab. Today Frontier has become the name of an ever-expanding range of print solutions that have a number of strong pillars of performance. At the heart of the system is Frontier Workflow Management and Image Intelligence. For the consumer, the Fujifilm Frontier experience begins with the Frontier Customer Interface, including the GetPix order terminal, online ordering through Get the Picture Online Service, or film scanning - offers excellent flexibility for different consumer preferences. This flexibility extends to output hardware and services such as CD/DVD writing devices, ASK dye-sub printers, wide format printers, Xerox printers, as well as traditional silver-halide printing on Frontier digital lab systems. Through Fujifilm's Expanding Frontier Solutions Frontier Quality is provided, regardless of the input/output sources a customer chooses.

Frontier Digital Lab Systems

The award-winning Frontier Series has become known around the world for the high quality prints it produces from both analog and digital sources, and for its wide variety of digital services. At PMA 2007, Fujifilm introduces the newest additions to its standard-setting Frontier digital lab systems. The Frontier 710 is the latest generation of Frontiers and features a small body, updated image controller software, Image Intelligence and easy-to-use operation. Fujifilm also introduces the FP150 SC, a compact film processor with a remarkably compact footprint of 5 square feet, capable of processing 14 rolls of 135-24 exposure film per hour -- ideal for today's retail photo labs.

Fujifilm's new Frontier Lite dry digital lab system for retail photo lab operations will allow both new market entrants and traditional photofinishers alike to provide an economical and customizable dry printing solution. Incorporating Image Intelligence, Frontier Lite gives customers excellent Frontier quality prints. Frontier Lite is ideal for supermarkets, drugstores, consumer electronics stores, convenience stores, or anywhere photofinishing services are offered.

Retail & Professional Printing Solutions

Fujifilm will now offer retailers a way to make photo specialty products on-site, including photo books, photo calendars, greeting cards and more, using the Xerox Phaser(R) 7760 digital printer and Xerox DocuColor(R) 240/250 duplex digital printer. The Xerox Phaser 7760 is compatible with Fujifilm kiosks and minilabs and uses Fujifilm's Image Intelligence technology to provide the highest-quality images. The Xerox DocuColor 240/250 is a high-speed printer offering impressive image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi, and is capable of printing on a wide range of substrates, up to 110 lb cover/300 g/m.

Fujifilm is also reaffirming its commitment to the photofinishing market by providing new and upgraded software to support the best imaging solutions on the market. These new software enhancements include: Frontier Photo Image Controller (PIC) Version 3, Frontier Manager 2, PIC Pro 3, LS Litebox, Image Intelligence Portrait and Image Intelligence Professional.

With Fujifilm's new Lab$ense portal, retailers can customize and control their photofinishing business for maximum profitability and productivity by tracking how and where orders are placed, as well as what specialty products and services consumers buy.

Also at the show will be Fujifilm's recently introduced ASK-4000 and ASK-2000 Digital Printers. These new thermal printers allow studio, wedding and event photographers to quickly and easily provide customers with 4 x 6 inch prints in 8 seconds and 8 x 10 inch prints in as little as 40 seconds.

Fujifilm's Event Photo System allows professional photographers the ability to optimize their workflow by automatically incorporating images into templates and transferring them to the ASK-2000 Digital Printer in seconds. Additionally, photographers using cameras with Wi-Fi technology can send images directly from the camera, resulting in instant prints with no operator interaction.

Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Pearl Photo Paper

Fujifilm also introduces Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Pearl Paper at PMA 2007. This new professional paper has a pearl appearance and features vibrant color reproduction, pure whites and a glossy surface. The introduction of this new Crystal Archive Color Photo Paper is the latest application of Fujifilm's advanced thin-layer coating manufacturing technology.
