OtterBox Announces Notebook Cases

Fort Collins, Colorado (November 9, 2005) — Announcing the OtterBox Notebook case, from Otter Products, LLC. Available in three customizable sizes, this rugged case provides innovative water, dust and drop protection to keep notebooks safe in any environment. Ruggedize your notebook for work or play.

With a virtually indestructible polypropylene shell, this case is ready for any adventure. The smallest case, the OtterBox 7020, accommodates laptops with screens smaller than 14,” the 7030 (shown in rendering above) accommodates screens 14”-15,” and the 7040, accommodates screens larger than 15.”

Cases incorporate easy open yet secure close latches to keep notebooks tightly stored and a lock for extra protection. For effortless transport, a carrying handle and shoulder strap are included. Innovative cases provide access to drives and ports, automatic pressure equalization, and no-slide rubber grips.

Internal configuration includes customizable shock-absorbing bumpers and a quick release strap for easy laptop removal, especially helpful in airport security lines. With an accessible design, the notebook is usable even in the case, simply pop open the lid and go to work.
