News Spotlight 2016

Nikon D5 (January 5, 2016)

Nikon has announced their new monster, and it's called the D5. Initially looking at the specs, this is exactly where I have wished a camera company would take lead...

Image Processing.

I think we've all had enough of the pixel wars to know (and let's admit it...we've had fun comparing our pixels) that there was so much more to be done with DSLRs than adding pixels. Nikon has responded with an entirely new Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system as well as a new RGB sensor to go along with it.

Nikon D500 DX DSLR (January 6, 2016)

Just in case you thought you'd miss out on the D5's offerings, you may be surprised. The D500 seems to be more a pairing with a D5, because Nikon has put the same Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system in the DX DSLR.
