Sanyo Announces "eneloop" NiMH

Sanyo has announced a form of NiMH battery. Named "eneloop", Sanyo says it will replace Dry Cell batteries, because of the new reduction in discharge and shelf-life residual effects associated with rechargeable batteries (after one year, an 85% retention of battery charge). In addition, eneloop batteries are rechargeable for approximately 1000 times. Sanyo also has an all-encompassing recycling plan, which is reflective of Sanyo's "Think GAIA" philosophy. Nikon Announces The 10.2MP D200

Nikon has FINALLY announced the successor to the very popular D100. The D200 is a 10.2MP, 100,000 cycle, 5fps, 11-area Multi-Cam (7 Wide-area) AF DSLR. Not bad for the $1699 USD MSRP price. Canon has "sort of" announced 7 new printers, said to be released around first week of October. The printer models are the PIXUS MP950 (with a 3.6" TFT LCD Display), MP800, MP500, MP170, icP6600d, iP7500, and the iP4200. Currently, I don't see any news officially on their websites, so we'll see what happens. Stay tuned.
