Sharp Announces 10MP 1/1.7-inch Sensor

Originally announced November 1st, 2005 in Japan on Sharp's website, was the RJ21W3BA0ET. The name probably doesn't mean that much to you (or me for that matter) but the RJ21W3BA0ET is a 10MP 1/1.7-inch imager.

There's really not that much info, but here's what we can get from Sharp's website:
