Eye Piece Adapter

Postby Talvan » Nov Thu 04, 2004 7:28 pm

As many of you know, I love to tinker. I shoudl have been a Tinker Gnome(for those that ever played AD&D you should know what that is :D). I am kind of limited in being able to find Nikon stuff locally since the only local dealer I have is Wolf. I was wondering if I could finagel one of you boys up north or out west to going to a Nikon dealer for me and picking up a 2370 Eyepiece Adapter for me. Then possibly mailing it to me after I send you a cashiers check or money order. It is a square to round eyepiece adapter. I may need antoher part, but i am not sure yet until I do some searching on it. I would be really greatful. :D

I have looked for this very piece to add an eyecup to my D100... I found it only at B&H. Noone stocks this piece around here. :(

BTW - my D100 still has no eyecup. :(

Yeah they still make them.... sometimes...

I talked to the guys at B & H when I ordered mine (for a right angle adapter) and was told
that Nikon mfg. only does one run a year on things like this. You have to either find someone who's
stockpiled them, or get one when the annual order goes out.

I seem to remember the beginning of Feb was when the order came in... not sure though.

I'd go onto B & H and put in an "email me when in stock" request (automated when you create a
user account and wish list there), then order 2. Then do the same thing on Adorama.

I got 2 and am glad I had the spare as I broke one (dropping the right angle adapter OUCH).

If I had a spare I'd let you have it... but I'll keep an eye open anyway for you (don't hold your breath).

Just ordered it from B&H, I got an email today saying it was in stock again, so I ordered the 2370, the DK-3, and the 2925 to tie them all together. :D Oh , got this just for shits and giggles.

Putting those three together will work? I may have to buy these as well.
