And I hope we'll see some better pics from this very lucky man, or I'm going to cry and put my pacifier in my mouth and cancel my order. LOL.

I cant believe he even bothered posting that first shot. It was just plain "BLURRY". The white balance is a whole other story.

That first one was shot at f/2.8 for 6 seconds. ISO 200.

WTF!! There is no justice in Digicamdom. How the hell are some of the worst shooters on earth getting the cam first? I think this is sign and symptom of how so many in the digicam/internet society are (IMO) overly into the specs and techs and lacking in the photography/artistic side of things. So far I've seen more people interested in taking shots in high iso ( even when the situation does not require it), than taking a great photograph or showing what this cam does best. I have yet to see anyone explore the 8fps aspect at all.

For a minute there I thought you might have got your 1DMKII from the New York heist. :bgb

I think I'm going to take the first one and post it at DPR with the Caption 1DMkII or Elph which should I buy.

Will,
Just a thought.
I think the trend we're now seeing is stemmed from newbies with deep pockets that think these new high tech cameras will make up for their lack of photographic knowledge. I see people asking questions on photographic forums things like; Which lens for Professional portraits? Thinking that once they get one (Professional quality lens), they can now proceed to go into bussiness without much further knowlege or experience. I think we can blame the Marketing folks for the major camera manufacturers for making it appear to be so simple to get Professional results with our Brand A camera. That IS their job, isn't it?
