An almost candid portrait - she smiled at the last moment when she realized I was snapping her photo. We set up a portrait shoot after I chimped the shot to let her see it.



D2h, 28-70 AFS, bounce flash

The lighting was difficult because it was under nasty flurescent lighting with a bounce flash giving 2 different light temps.

LOL - I'm not picking up chicks... I'm adding clients!

I booked two portrait sessions from this girl... one for her, and another who saw the pic. One is for a senior portrait, so mom will order many prints hopefully.

Funny thing is now, when I check out a girl - I look to see if she has an engagment ring on! If she does - potential client! (I'm pathetic, I know!) Though I'll bet Marokero does the same thing!

We've had a few evenings that have had that fantastic glow, and alas, nothing to shoot.

LOL about looking for the ring. I look for it because my butt has an allergic reaction to 12ga barrels held by jealous husbands/fiance' :wtf

Lately I've had two request's to shoot weddings, and another to shoot a little league team portrait, and a request to shoot a family portrait.

And all any of them have seen are my shots of birds and moons.

Nice shot with a beautiful smile. However, I'd like it better with a somewhat longer focal length. Her features look a little distorted to me.
