All of these were shot in the tunnel you can see in the 3rd photo. The three catchlights are actually just one big catch light (the tunnel entrance) with my students and a big tree across the center to break it up. See below...


The theme for my sessions was direction light (even in the shade) and remote speedlights. Every so often during the shootout they would rotate over a new group of students and a new model. I enjoyed throwing everyone off by making them shoot with the harsh light at the model's back most of the time. People really are stuck with the "sun at your back" mentality so it was great to help them see other ways of using light.
