This is a late 40's (I think) Hudson. I was told this is an actual California Highway Patrol car from back then, retired of course.
Looks like it still has it's old set of California exempt plates.

I thinks its owned by a real cop too. I spotted this one hanging out with the Metro units present at the Las Vegas 100th year anniversary. Seemed like everyone in the car was wearing a Metro uniform.

ok - I'm posting these pictures of my '68 Camaro that was my pride and joy for 8 yrs... sure wish I still had it... it would be worth a small fortune now. The pictures aren't great, are old and so, are not "up to parr with the other pics here. I'm just sharing the car photos :)









It had a 325 V8 small block and was quite the "rod"

Wish I had the equipment I have now so I could've taken better pictures... well, I suppose I've also grown as a photography since then too ;-)

Hey Cindy, Yeah, That's a "SWEET" little 68. The 62 Impala sitting in front of it in your third image looks interesting as well. ;-)

Thanks Bruce... it really was a fun car... but I moved out of state and had a brand new car. After about 8 months, the next spring, I pulled it out of storage and, even tho I really didn't want to, I put it up for sale. A guy saw it and fell in love with it. He got financing and bought it for $3,500 (I paid $1,100 and put time and $$ fixing it up - doing some of the work myself ;-) ). SO cheap now looking back. I wish I'd known that there would've been the kind of payoff that's going on now. Still, I had alot of sentimental feelings about the car too...

Sad thing is, I heard but didn't actually see, my beautiful rod got sold to someone else and it became a rusted old beater... it makes me so sad. I worked so hard to keep it nice and stored every winter... it was literally driven the first part of it's life, by a little old lady who drove it to church :) and it ended up the last part of it's life, a beater...

Ok, now I'm depressed . I'm one of those people who get really attached to things and I'm sad it had to suffer...
