Nice find Mark, Unfortunately, with my collection of film bodies, I haven't been following the film camera market at all lately. Since the 10D came into my possesion, I've really had no need to shoot film anymore with the possible exception of B&W.
Maybe I should have another look at the new crop.

Canon not only came out with the a new Elan 7n they also came out with an Elan 7NE ( the eye focus version) and a quartz data back version. The camera is equipped for ETTL 2 which is supposed to be an improvement over the previous ETTL. I will know exactly how much improvement when I receive my new 1D MK11.
CPS, IPA, PPA ( I could list all the other organizations that I belong to but what would be the point?) Who am I am trying to impress anyway?

Isn't that standard protocol for Canon's Elan and upper series?
