Guido's portrait session (135kb of images)

Postby mattchase » Aug Sat 14, 2004 2:39 pm

Finally got the lights setup and in place where I like them. Here are a few from a somewhat real session (Guido was the customer). I am considering doing pet portraits somewhere down the road, so until then I hope you don't get sick of seeing pics of Guido. ;)

Image
Striking a supermodel pose, showing off her long mane

The coy, "who me?" look.

A cat's still gotta be a cat, can't help but roll around with your favorite bunny.

Image
The serious look, posing with her other best friend (I'm her first best!)

I'm pretty happy so far, given that I didn't have an assistant to help keep Guido in line while shooting. She has always been pretty cooperative, she just sits there for a few minutes and then rolls over, sits for a few, then leaves. I guess that's the thanks she gives me for spoiling her!

Hi Matt, I think you did really good. On shot number 2 the far left paw looks almost blown out. Other than that they all look pretty damn good to me. Expetially for working with no asst. I have been debating trying to do the same thing, but mine wont stay still long enough for somthing like that, as you can tell by my avatar now. :D Do you like using black the best? or is that just all you have?
Sincerely,
John Talvan

Hey Alberto, your two girls look nice based on your avatar. The short hair grey looks really sweet, which probably means she is a terror. What breed is she?

They are both supposed to be American Shorthair, although my grey one, Yuki, seems to have shorter than usual hair I think. She's not a terror at all, my other girl, Keiku, she likes to annoy me by chewing on plastic! :b Perhaps it's time to update my avatar with newer pics of them both :D

Matt, These are GREAT! Looks like you have the lighting thing nailed down proper.
The only comment I have, is that Guidos pose in shot #2 is KILLER! :D
