Lose one, Gain one

Postby Ballen Photo » Apr Wed 21, 2004 11:16 pm

Well, after this coming Friday I'll no longer be eligible to remain in the
E-10 Club. I told a good friend that lives in Utah that he can have mine. I really hated to see it just sit and go to waste, and my friend is starting to really enjoy photography, and is working on panoramas so I told him to come and get it, lipo grip, charger, cable release, and eveything that goes with it. I'm sure I'll miss it, but I know that now it'll be getting used once again.
My friend will be here this Friday to take possesion of it.
The GOOD news is, I told him that he should join this site to learn about his new photographic tool, and I'll bet he does.

Gonz, send it to me.
Bruce, you should've made that a requirement for taking ownership of the camera!

hehehehe, I am still using mine, up too 6000 exposures now. The first 500 or so were getting used to the camera and playing around. Oh waite, this my third E-10. I guess i have taken somewhere around 9000 images with all my E-10s. :D

The fact that You've seen fit to buy "Three" of them makes a statement in it's self about this camera. Since Gonz has moved to the E-1, I'd say this makes you the reigning President of the E-10 club by proxy. :bgb

um, well, i didnt exactley buy three of them. My first one the focus died in it, my second the aperature died, and well this one i am waiting for the shutter to die so i have a really really good excuse to get a new camera. The focus wasnt an issue with anybody else, so i am thinking it was just an isolated case, along with the aperature, but the sudden shutter failure is the one i am really worried aout since it is a known issue, and i am hopeing i dont have one that will die at 10k since i need it to last a little longer than that.
