Lexar 8GB CF Professional

8GB CF? Holy Digital, that's a lot of photos. That's about 1000 RAW files, and oh, lemme see here, 5000 JPEG files.

You could also start to make a movie on that thing. With the latest 8MP DSLR-type cameras, you can make movies as large as your CF will hold.

GEEZE!!! That's like TWICE as big as the hard drive in my first computer.

man o man .. that's an awful lot of data/images to be lost if it ever goes bust. :o/

think I'd still rather carry around a few 512megs and my old digital wallet.

Does the fact that it comes with a copy of an image recovery program scare anyone else? It's like they're saying, "We know you'll need this so we'll just give it to you so you'll already have it!"
